Staff Costs
Have you ever thought about the hidden costs of tea & coffee making? Of course, you know the cost of the consumables and power but these are dwarfed by the staff costs.
When ever someone goes to make a cup of tea and they boil the kettle, they have few options but to hang around and wait. Not exactly productive. As a one off, it doesn't sound to bad. One member of staff taking a few minutes out to make a cuppa.
But as soon as you extrapolate that out through an organisation, the amount of money you are potentially paying staff to wait for a kettle can be staggering.
We ran some calculations and for a company with just 10 members of staff, the amount of staff costs that can be attributed to "drink making" in a single year could easily be over £6,000!
We would never advocate banning the great British Cuppa, but with a Thirstpoint Hot machine, you can easily halve* the time taken to make a brew.
