About Us

Thirstpoint Limited is an independent British company established in 1988, and our primary activities fall into two key areas:

1) The development, manufacture, sale, installation, maintenance and servicing of point-of-use drinking water systems for commercial markets in the UK with additional involvement in the domestic market.

2) The development, manufacture, sale and distribution of outdoor water purification systems for the personal, aid and military markets on a global basis.

Thirstpoint Limited employs in excess of 25 people with all core activities directly controlled by the company under a quality system to ISO 9001 standards.

Administrative, sales and service support operations are based in Farnham, Surrey. The company is structured to provide full service throughout mainland UK and operates an 8 working hour service response for all customers.

Customer Base

Customers range from majors such as Corus, Toyota, P&O, BUPA, Federal Express, Britvic, Odeon Cinemas, Homebase, The Mirror Group, Inland Revenue, Rugby Football Union, Tate Galleries, Knight Frank, Thales, Surrey Police and South Wales Police.

We also deal with many local councils, schools and colleges, private and NHS hospitals, charities, hotels, fitness clubs, factories, educational establishments, garden centres and a range of smaller independent companies.

The Company also provides partnering programmes for Facilities Management companies to enable them to supply their customers with fixed cost, full service drinking water and water treatment facilities. Partners include Pacific Interiors, Blue Stone plc, In-Space plc and many more.

Research and Development

Based at Farnham, Surrey, the research and development operation works with key players in the commercial, manufacturing, survival, medical and military fields to develop new technologies in water treatment and purification. Advanced filtration techniques and materials are under constant evaluation, with test and field conditions supported by recognised verification and independent specialist bodies.

Filtration systems are tested and approved by the Hospital for Tropical Diseases (London, UK) and the International Survival Instructors Association. Where relevant, all products carry the CE Mark and are BEAB or WBS approved or carry NSF certification.
